WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Function:

• Night Shift.
• 7pm to 7am.
• Provide high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
• Continuously assess, monitor, and manage patients requiring intensive medical interventions.
• Manage ventilators, titrate vasoactive and critical care drips, and monitor invasive lines.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms, laboratory values, and diagnostic results; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders and ICU protocols.
• Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care when appropriate.

Job Requirements:  

• 2 years of experience.
• some travel experience required.
• BSN.
• BLS and ACLS.
