Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at an imaging center in Westchester, NY.

Job Function:

Day Shift.
3x12: 8am-8pm.
Perform MRI imaging procedures following established protocols and safety standards.
Operate and prepare specialized MRI equipment for diagnostic imaging.
Assist in preparing and positioning patients to ensure quality imaging and patient comfort.
Administer contrast media using aseptic technique when required.
Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure timely transmission to PACS and proper documentation in IDX.

Job Requirements:

2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification required.
Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
New York State IV Certification required.
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
