Description

WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a contract assignment on a fast‑paced, high‑acuity 30‑bed telemetry unit in Jacksonville, Florida.

Job Function:

Night Shift.
6:45 PM-7:15 AM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
Monitor cardiac activity using EKG equipment and continuously track heart performance.
Analyze EKG results, identify abnormalities, and document findings accurately.
Oversee and support cardiac stress testing procedures.
Provide emergency interventions for cardiac events and other life‑threatening conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, medications, and follow‑up care prior to discharge.

Required Qualifications

Active RN license for the state of assignment.
Telemetry experience required.
Strong surgical telemetry background preferred.
