Description
WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a contract assignment on a fast‑paced, high‑acuity 30‑bed telemetry unit in Jacksonville, Florida.
Job Function:
- Night Shift.
- 6:45 PM-7:15 AM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
- Monitor cardiac activity using EKG equipment and continuously track heart performance.
- Analyze EKG results, identify abnormalities, and document findings accurately.
- Oversee and support cardiac stress testing procedures.
- Provide emergency interventions for cardiac events and other life‑threatening conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, medications, and follow‑up care prior to discharge.
Required Qualifications
Active RN license for the state of assignment.
Telemetry experience required.
Strong surgical telemetry background preferred.
