WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a contract assignment on a high‑acuity 30‑bed PCU in Jacksonville, FL.

Job Function:

• Day Shift and Night Shift.
• 7PM – 7AM - 7AM-7PM.

• Deliver patient‑centered care using the principles of Relationship‑Centered Care and evidence‑based practice.

• Assess and evaluate patient needs, applying strong critical‑thinking skills to guide care decisions.

• Integrate comprehensive assessment and intervention skills into daily nursing practice.

• Prioritize all aspects of patient care, including education, rounding, coaching, and discharge planning.

• Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, transitions of care, health promotion, and disease prevention.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and coordinated care.

• Document all care accurately and in accordance with organizational standards.

Job Requirements:

• Active RN license for the state of assignment.

• Strong PCU or step‑down experience required.
