WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical RN for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Bronx, NY.

Job Function:

• Night Shift.
• 5x8: 7pm-7:30am.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

• Provide direct, individualized bedside care to pre‑ and post‑surgical patients.

• Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications accurately.

• Perform wound care, change dressings, insert catheters, and initiate IV therapy.

• Adjust and monitor specialized medical equipment; interpret and record clinical measurements.

• Monitor vital signs and promptly report adverse reactions to medications or treatments.

• Participate in discharge planning with the interdisciplinary team.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience.

• 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.

• 2 years of conscious sedation experience.

• Experience in Med/Surg ICU, PCU/Step‑Down, MICU, or CCU strongly preferred.

• Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program.

• Active New York State RN License.

• Primary Source Verification through NYSED.

• AHA BLS.

• AHA ACLS.
