WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Emergency Room Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Palmer, MA.

Job Function:  

• Night Shift.
• 3x12: 7pm-7am.
• Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with critical, life‑threatening conditions requiring rapid assessment and high‑intensity interventions  
• Provide emotional support, education, and clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations  
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, recognizing when early intervention is needed.  
• Prepare patients for surgery, imaging, and diagnostic procedures.  
• Perform essential emergency procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, blood draws, and airway support (intubation  assistance).  
• Maintain  accurate  and  timely  documentation in the EMR.  

Job Requirements:

• 3 years ED experience preferred.

• BLS.

• ACLS.

• PALS.

• CPI.
