Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Worcester, MA.

Job Function:

Night Shift.
3x12: 6:45pm-7:15am.
Categorizes patients in the appropriate level of classification.
Applies external fetal monitor and interprets fetal heart tracing and uterine activity.
Implements intervention appropriately based on fetal heart rate pattern and maternal status during labor.
Identifies emergency situations, observes age and notifies provider accordingly.
Screens patients for pain during the initial assessment and reassess according to guidelines.
Assists the physicians/midwife during a delivery.

Job Requirements:

3 years L&D strongly preferred.
Will consider 2+ years with travel experience.
Must be able to circulate C‑sections.
EPIC experience required.
AWHONN Intermediate (or above).
BLS.
ACLS.
NRP.
