WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Operating  Room Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Summit, NJ.

Job Function:  

• Night shift.
• 3x12: 7pm-8am.
• Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR.  
• Prepare the  operating  room for procedures and  assist  with room turnover.  
• Assist  with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure.   
• Handle and  label specimens according to policy.  
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection‑control standards.  
• Identify  and  initiate  corrective actions when necessary.  
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow.  

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to scrub and circulate.

• 1 year perioperative experience required.

• RN License – Required.

• BLS – Required.

• CNOR – Preferred.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
