WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Operating  Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Somerville, NJ.

Job Function:  

• Day Shift.
• 3x12: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM.
• Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR.  
• Prepare the  operating  room for procedures and  assist  with room turnover.   
• Assist  with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure.  
• Handle and label specimens according to policy.  
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection‑control standards.  
• Identify  and  initiate  corrective actions when necessary.  
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow.  

Job Requirements:

• 1.5 years OR experience.

• Must be able to circulate (required).

• EPIC charging experience.

• Active NJ RN license or Compact license.

• AHA BLS.
