WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Operating  Room Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Stamford, CT.

Job Function:  

• Evening Shift.
• 5x8: 2:30pm- 10:30pm.
• Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR.  
• Prepare the  operating  room for procedures and  assist  with room turnover.  
• Assist  with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure.  
• Handle and label specimens according to policy.  
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection‑control standards.  
• Identify  and  initiate  corrective actions when necessary.  

Job Requirements:

• Active RN license – required (must be in hand at submission)

• 4+ years OR experience – required

• Travel experience – required

• EPIC experience – required

• Trauma Level II experience – required

• Trauma Level I experience – preferred

• LTAC experience – preferred

• Certifications: BLS and ACLS – required
