WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Telemetry Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital  in  Poughkeepsie, NY.

Job Function:   

• Night Shift.
• 3x12: 7pm-7:30am.
• Monitor cardiac activity using EKG equipment and continuously track heart performance.  
• Analyze EKG results,  identify  abnormalities, and document findings accurately.  
• Oversee and support cardiac stress testing procedures.  
• Provide emergency interventions for cardiac events and other  life‑threatening conditions.  
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.  
• Educate patients on  lifestyle modifications, medications, and follow‑up care prior to discharge.  
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure  optimal  patient outcomes.  

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience.

• Strong background in high‑acuity Med/Surg or step‑down settings.

• Experience in teaching hospital environments.

• Active NY RN License.

• BLS (AHA).

• ACLS (AHA).

• Minimum 3 years of recent acute Med/Surg experience.
