Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Utica, NY.

Job Function:

Night Shift.
3x12.
Evaluate and continuously monitor patient progress in the ICU
Identify sudden or subtle changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately
Provide timely updates to physicians, patients, and family members
Initiate treatments, administer medications, and monitor dosing
Respond to medical emergencies and activate appropriate clinical teams
Deliver comprehensive care throughout the patient’s ICU stay
Complete all required documentation prior to patient transfer
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans

Job Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Has 2+ years of high‑acuity ICU experience
EPIC experience required
Charge nurse experience preferred
CRRT experience required
Prismaflex experience required
Heart/cardiac experience highly preferred (priority consideration)
