Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Jacksonville, FL.

Job Function:

Day Shift.
3x12: 6:45am- 7:15pm.
Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy
Educate patients on surgical procedures and post‑operative expectations
Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments
Operate, monitor, and adjust specialized patient‑care equipment; interpret and document electronic data
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Active New York State RN License
Minimum 2 years of acute Med/Surg experience
BLS & ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
