Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Critical Care Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected  hospital in  NY.


Job Function:  

  • Night Shift.
  • 3x12: 7pm-7:30am.
  • Evaluate and continuously  monitor  patient progress in the  ICU  
  • Identify  sudden or subtle changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately  
  • Provide  timely  updates to physicians, patients, and family members  
  • Initiate treatments, administer medications, and  monitor  dosing  
  • Respond to medical emergencies and activate  appropriate clinical  teams  
  • Deliver comprehensive care throughout the patient’s  ICU  stay  
  • Complete all required  documentation prior to patient transfer  
  • Maintain  accurate  and detailed  patient records  
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized  care plans  

Job Requirements:

  • 3 years ICU experience (required)

  • 5 years Level I Trauma experience (preferred)

  • Previous charge experience (required)

  • Experience with Epic charting (required)

  • MA RN license – must be in hand

  • BLS

  • ACLS

  • NIHSS

  • TCAR (if applicable per specialty)
