WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced  Labor & Delivery RN  to join a high‑performing  L&D  team at a respected hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Job Function:  

• Day shift.
• 3x12: 7am-7:30pm.
• Assess and categorize patients into the  appropriate level  of care  
• Apply and interpret  external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity  
• Implement  timely  interventions based  on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition  
• Identify  and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately  
• Administer medications safely  in accordance with  the  Five Rights  and infection‑control standards  
• Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines  
• Assist  physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care  

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in a high‑risk OB setting

• OR circulating for C‑sections

• PACU / recovery room experience

• Preferred: 3+ years of current Labor & Delivery experience

• Active New York State RN License

• NRP – Advanced

• C‑EFM (through NCC)

• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
