WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Hackensack, NJ.  

Job Function:  

• Night Shift.
• 3x12: 7pm-7am.
• Using electrocardiogram (EKG) machines to continuously track heart performance.  
• Analyzing EKG results to establish baselines and spot abnormalities; Recording EKG results to keep patient information accurate.  
• Overseeing stress tests to assess patients’ heart function.  
• Delivering emergency medical care when patients suffer heart attacks or other life-threatening problems.  
• Administering medications and other treatments ordered by physicians.   
• Educating patients on lifestyle changes and ongoing treatments prior to discharge from the hospital.  

Job Requirements:  

• License/Certificate Verification
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg–Telemetry RN experience  in a major acute‑care hospital.
• Strong background in MS/Tele patient management.
• Experience with  non‑titrated cardiac drips  required.
• BLS – AHA
• ACLS – AHA
• Telemetry certification
• NIHSS
• CEU Contact Stroke (4 hours)
• NJ RN license  or  multistate compact license
