WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Operating  Room Registered Nurse  for  a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Worcester, MA.

Job Function:  

• Day Shift.
• 5x8.
• Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR.  
• Prepare the  operating  room for  procedures and  assist  with room turnover.  
• Assist  with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure.  
• Handle and label specimens according to policy.  
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection‑control standards.  
• Identify  and  initiate  corrective actions when necessary.  
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and  OR  staff to ensure efficient workflow.  

Job Requirements:

• BSN required.

• BLS & ACLS- AHA.

• 2 years OR RN experience preferred.

• Trauma Level I experience required.

• Trauma Level II experience preferred.

• Traveler MUST have scrub experience.
