Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Mother Baby Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Newark, NJ.

Job Function:

Day Shift.
7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Categorize patients according to the appropriate level of care/classification.
Identify emergency situations, consider patient age, and notify the provider as needed.
Administer medications in accordance with the five rights of medication safety and infection control guidelines, as well as provider orders.
Screen patients for pain during the initial assessment and reassess in accordance with established guidelines.

Job Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Current RN license for the state of NJ.
2 years of Mother Baby RN experience is required.
BLS, ACLS, certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
EPIC experience preferred.
