Description

WCS Healthcare  is currently seeking a Mother Baby Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Newark, NJ.  


Job Function:  

 

  • Day Shift.
  • 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

  • Categorize patients according to the appropriate level of care/classification.

  • Identify emergency situations, consider patient age, and notify the provider as needed.

  • Administer medications in accordance with the five rights of medication safety and infection control guidelines, as well as provider orders.

  • Screen patients for pain during the initial assessment and reassess in accordance with established guidelines.

 


Job Requirements:  

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing  (BSN).   
  • Current RN license for the state of NJ.
  • 2  years of Mother Baby RN experience is required.   
  • BLS, ACLS,  certifications  from the American Heart Association  are required.  
  • EPIC experience preferred.
