WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Operating  Room Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  New Brunswick, NJ. This role is ideal for an OR nurse who thrives in a fast‑paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high‑quality perioperative care.  

Job Function:  

• Night Shift.
• 3x12: 6pm-6:30am.
• Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR  
• Prepare the  operating  room for procedures and  assist  with room turnover  
• Assist  with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure  
• Handle and label specimens according to policy  
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection‑control standards  
• Identify  and  initiate  corrective actions when necessary  
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow  

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing  (BSN).  Experience Required: 3+ years
• BLS-AHA

• De‑escalation training required for ED/Behavioral Health/Psych RNs

• Scrub required for open CVOR cases
