WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Emergency Room Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  South Weymouth, MA. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is confident caring for patients experiencing life‑threatening conditions.  

Job Function:  

• 3x12: Nights 7pm-7:30am.
• Manage the care of adult and/or  pediatric  patients with critical, life‑threatening conditions requiring rapid assessment and high‑intensity interventions  
• Provide emotional support, education, and clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations  
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, recognizing when early intervention is needed  
• Prepare patients for surgery, imaging, and diagnostic procedures  
• Perform essential emergency procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, blood draws, and airway support (intubation  assistance)  
• Maintain  accurate  and  timely  documentation in the EMR  

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing  (BSN)  
• Current RN license for the state that you are working in (or willingness to obtain)  
• Minimum 2 years ED experience

• BLS (AHA)

• ACLS (AHA)

• PALS (AHA)
