WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Long‑Term Care Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected long‑term care facility in Newark, NY. This role is ideal for compassionate, skilled nurses who excel in resident‑centered care and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Job Function:

• Rotating Shift.

• Deliver professional nursing care to residents in a long‑term care setting

• Record patient histories, perform diagnostic assessments, and administer medications

• Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with the interdisciplinary team

• Assist physicians during exams and procedures, ensuring safe and effective use of medical equipment

• Monitor resident conditions, document changes, and communicate concerns promptly

• Support residents and families with education, guidance, and compassionate communication

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing OR Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Active RN license in the state of assignment (or willingness to obtain)

• AHA BLS certification

• Minimum 2 years of Long‑Term Care RN experience

• Strong communication, assessment, and customer service skills

• Previous charge/supervisory experience required

• EPIC experience required

• Skilled Nursing Facility experience
