Local Contract Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  NICU  Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Newton, MA. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN with advanced neonatal care skills and a passion for supporting premature and critically ill newborns.  

Job Function:  

• Administer medications,  monitor  vital signs, and provide essential nutrients to newborns  
• Support premature and critically ill infants whose lungs and systems are not fully developed  
• Ensure proper respiratory function and developmental progress  
• Assist  physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans  
• Maintain  accurate  and up‑to‑date patient records  
• Deliver compassionate, family‑centered care  

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing  (BSN).
• Current RN license for the state that you are working in (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS, ACLS and PALS  certifications  from the American Heart Association.
• NRP Certification is  required.
• Fetal Monitoring Certification is  required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• 2 full  years of acute care experience in this  specialty.
