Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  NICU  Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Hartford, CT. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN with advanced neonatal care skills and a passion for supporting premature and critically ill newborns.  


Job Function:  

  • Rotating Shift.
  • 3x12.
  • Administer medications,  monitor  vital signs, and provide essential nutrients to newborns  
  • Support premature and critically ill infants whose lungs and systems are not fully developed  
  • Ensure proper respiratory function and developmental progress  
  • Assist  physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans  
  • Maintain  accurate  and up‑to‑date patient records  
  • Deliver compassionate, family‑centered care  

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years NICU experience required

  • Travel experience required

  • Previous charge experience preferred

  • BLS, NRP (required)

  • PALS (listed in skills)

  • State or Compact RN license (must have permanent or temp license in hand)
