Description
WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Hartford, CT. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN with advanced neonatal care skills and a passion for supporting premature and critically ill newborns.
Job Function:
- Rotating Shift.
- 3x12.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide essential nutrients to newborns
- Support premature and critically ill infants whose lungs and systems are not fully developed
- Ensure proper respiratory function and developmental progress
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records
- Deliver compassionate, family‑centered care
Job Requirements:
3+ years NICU experience required
Travel experience required
Previous charge experience preferred
BLS, NRP (required)
PALS (listed in skills)
State or Compact RN license (must have permanent or temp license in hand)
