WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Operating  Room Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Voorhees, NJ. This role is ideal for an OR nurse who thrives in a fast‑paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high‑quality perioperative care.  

Job Function:  

• Day Shift.
• 4x10: 6am - 4:30pm.
• Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR  
• Prepare the  operating  room for procedures and  assist  with room turnover  
• Assist  with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure  
• Handle and label specimens according to policy  
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection‑control standards  
• Identify  and  initiate  corrective actions when necessary  
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year OR experience with strong emphasis on: Total knee replacement, Total hip replacement, Spine surgery, Hand & foot surgery

• Must have scrub and circulate experience

• Experience must be within the last 12 months

• Active NJ RN license or Compact license (must be active at submission)

• BLS (cannot expire within 30 days of start)

• Local Rule: Candidates living within 50 miles receive a $5/hr lower rate
