Description
WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in New York City. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN with advanced cardiac monitoring skills and a passion for delivering high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced acute care environment.
Job Function:
- Day Shift.
- 3x12: 7am-7:30pm.
- Monitor cardiac activity using EKG equipment and continuously track heart performance.
- Analyze EKG results, identify abnormalities, and document findings accurately
- Oversee and support cardiac stress testing procedures.
- Provide emergency interventions for cardiac events and other life‑threatening conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, medications, and follow‑up care prior to discharge.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Requirements:
Active NY RN License
BLS & ACLS (AHA)
Telemetry experience required
Ventilator experience
Minimum 2 years RN experience
Minimum 2 years Telemetry/Med‑Surg experience
1 year travel experience required for travel positions
EPIC experience highly preferred
BSN preferred
