WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  NYC. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top‑tier clinical team while advancing your career in a fast‑paced acute care  environment.

Job Function:

• Day Shift.
• 4x10: 7am -5:30pm.
• Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments.  
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy.  
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and post‑operative expectations.  
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments.  
• Operate,  monitor, and adjust specialized patient‑care equipment; interpret and document.  electronic data.  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.  

Job Requirements:

• Graduate  from  an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).  

• Minimum 1 year Med Surg/Tele experience (must be recent within the past year)

• 2 years total RN experience preferred

• Active NY RN License

• BLS (AHA)

• ACLS

• NIHSS
