WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Oncology  Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Neptune, NJ. This role is ideal for an RN with strong  oncology  skills, chemotherapy experience, and the ability to coordinate complex  ambulatory patient care.  

Job Function:  

• Evening Shift.
• 4x10: 7:30am-6pm.
• Administer chemotherapy, therapeutic treatments, blood transfusions, and perform phlebotomy  
• Provide and coordinate patient care in an  ambulatory  oncology  setting  
• Assess, diagnose, plan, and intervene in actual or potential health problems  
• Evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly  
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, symptom management, and health maintenance  
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care  
• Support unit operations including patient flow, assignments, ordering, and medical record preparation  

Job Requirements:

• Active NJ Registered Nurse license or multistate compact license

• BLS (AHA)

• Minimum 2 years of acute adult oncology experience, specifically with leukemia and lymphoma (inpatient or comparable setting).

• Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills.

• Ability to work independently across multiple outpatient sites.

• Telemetry certification- preferred

• Chemotherapy certification (ONS preferred).

• ASN required, BSN preferred
