WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Pompton Plains, NJ. Job Function:  

• Day Shift.
• 5x8: 8:15 AM – 4:15 PM.
• Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments.  
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy.  
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and post‑operative expectations.  
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments.  
• Operate,  monitor, and adjust specialized patient‑care equipment; interpret and document.  electronic data.  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.  

Job Requirements:

• Active RN License

• BLS

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing- preferred
