WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Camden, NJ. This role is ideal for an ICU‑trained RN with strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to manage complex, high‑acuity patients.

Job Responsibilities

• Shift and schedule: Day Shifts | 36 hours per week (Three 12-hour shifts) | 7:00am - 7:00pm.
• Evaluate and continuously  monitor  patient progress in the ICU.
• Identify  sudden or subtle changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately.
• Provide  timely  updates to physicians, patients, and family members.
• Initiate treatments, administer medications, and  monitor  dosing.
• Respond to medical emergencies and activate  appropriate clinical  teams.
• Deliver comprehensive care throughout the patient’s ICU stay.
• Complete all required documentation prior to patient transfer.
• Maintain  accurate  and detailed patient records.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Active NJ or Compact RN License (must be in hand at submission)

• AHA BLS

• AHA ACLS

• NIHSS

• 2+ years CVICU experience (must be within last 12 months)

• Open‑heart recovery experience — required

• Strong dysrhythmia interpretation

• Ability to float across 5 hospitals
