Local Contract Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery

WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN  to join a high‑performing L&D  team at a respected hospital in Voorhees, NJ.  The ideal clinician is confident in fetal monitoring, labor management, emergency response, and supporting providers throughout the childbirth process.  

• Shift: 36 hrs | 3x12 Nights 7pm-7am | Every Other Weekend (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH) required
• Assess and categorize patients into the appropriate level  of care  
• Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity  
• Implement timely  interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition  
• Identify  and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately  
• Administer medications safely in accordance with  the Five Rights  and infection‑control standards  
• Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines  
• Assist  physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care  

 Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2.5 years recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Antepartum and High Risk OB experience required
• Active NJ RN License or Compact License at time of submission
• AHA BLS Certification
• AHA ACLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• Experience in specialty within the last 12 months
• First-time travelers accepted
