Description
WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in York, PA. This role is ideal for an ICU‑trained RN with strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to manage complex, high‑acuity patients.
Job Function:
- Shift: 36 hrs | 3x12 Nights EOW.
- Evaluate and continuously monitor patient progress in the ICU.
- Identify sudden or subtle changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately.
- Provide timely updates to physicians, patients, and family members.
- Initiate treatments, administer medications, and monitor dosing.
- Respond to medical emergencies and activate appropriate clinical teams.
- Deliver comprehensive care throughout the patient’s ICU stay.
- Complete all required documentation prior to patient transfer.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years Neuro ICU
- Trauma Level I experience
- Epic experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- ENLS preferred
- AHA or ARC only
