WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Operating  Room  Registered Nurse  for  a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Georgia. This role is ideal for  an  OR  nurse who thrives in a fast‑paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high‑quality perioperative care. 

Job Function:  

• Shift: 3x12 nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (Night shift)
• Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR  
• Prepare the  operating  room  for  procedures and  assist  with  room  turnover  
• Assist  with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure  
• Handle and label specimens according to policy  
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection‑control standards  
• Identify  and  initiate  corrective actions when necessary  
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and  OR  staff to ensure efficient workflow  

Job Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of dedicated experience within the Operating Room specialty.

• Clinical Expertise: Must have extensive travel experience with high expertise across all major case types, including:

  • Robotics

  • Neuro

  • Ortho

  • Plastics

  • GYN, etc.

• Certification: Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
