Description
WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Critical Care Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in NYC.
Job Function:
- Shift & Hours: 3x12 Nights - 2 openings and 1 day shift available
- Evaluate and monitor the patient’s progress
- Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
- Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members
- Begin treatment and monitor doses
- Maintain patient records
Job Requirements:
Active New York State (NYS) Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing upon hire.
BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred.
An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is considered only with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program.
Minimum of 2 years of total RN experience.
Minimum of 2 years of Critical Care (ICU) / Telemetry experience.
At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience is required only for Travel contract positions (not required for Per Diem roles).
Experience with EPIC electronic health records is highly preferred.
