Description
WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Psychiatric Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Concord, MA.
Job Function:
- Shift: Evening, 3pm to 11:30pm - every weekend - Saturday & Sunday, every other holiday and no on-call
- Gauging patients' psychiatric states.
- Collaborating on psychiatric intervention plans.
- Administering psychotropic and similar medications.
- Keeping patient morale up by providing a positive therapeutic relationship
- Monitoring adherence to non-medicinal treatment regimens.
- Removing potentially harmful and triggering environmental features.
- Restraining, consoling, and sometimes medicating highly unsettled patients.
- Documenting patients' health journeys and reporting on notable alterations.
- Conducting targeted psychoeducation, particularly within families.
Job Requirements:
- Active MA License
- Meditech experience required
- Travel experience
- 2 years experience required with Acute care experience
- CPI Blue Certified
