WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Step‑Down RN for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Brunswick, GA. This role is ideal for a nurse who excels in high‑acuity environments, uses strong critical‑thinking skills, and delivers patient‑centered care grounded in evidence‑based practice. 

Job Function:

• Shift & Hours: 3x12 Nights (36 hours)
  
• Deliver high‑quality patient care using the principles of  Relationship‑Centered Care, integrating theory, research, and evidence‑based practice.  
• Assess and  evaluate  patient needs while applying strong critical‑thinking skills to guide clinical decision‑making.  
• Integrate comprehensive assessment and intervention skills into all aspects of nursing care.  
• Prioritize patient care activities, including teaching, rounding, coaching, discharge planning, and  appropriate delegation.  
• Educate patients and caregivers about the plan of care, transitions of care, health promotion, and disease prevention—anticipating  needs and readiness to learn.  

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing  (BSN) preferred    
• Current RN license for the state that you are working in (or willingness to obtain)  
• 2 years of acute ICU/CCU Stepdown RN experience   
• Excellent communication and  customer service skills    
• Traveler has completed one prior travel  assignment  
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS  certifications  from the American Heart Association
