**Job Title: Registered Nurse • Behavioral Health • Days**

**Location:** Sylmar, CA

**Contract Duration:** 20 weeks

**Schedule:** 40 hours/week, 5 x 8•hour shifts, every other weekend

**Role Overview:**

Provide care in a correctional setting for individuals with behavioral health needs, focusing on medication administration, blood draws, and patient assessments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Administer medications and perform blood draws

• Conduct patient assessments

• Collaborate in a secured environment

• Ensure compliance with CA State Law patient ratios

**Qualifications:**

• Active CA RN License

• BLS, Fire Card, and MAB/CPI certifications

• 2+ years of psychiatric inpatient experience

• Experience in Psych, Correctional Health, Med Surg, or ER

• Preferred: Experience in detention centers

• COVID vaccination and booster required

**Additional Information:**

• Travel experience preferred
