Description
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in Correctional Health, delivering vital care to incarcerated adults in Los Angeles, CA. Ideal for those committed to social justice and compassionate care.
**Contract Details:**
• 16•week duration
• 40 hours/week, Day shifts (5 x 8•hour shifts)
• Holiday and weekend availability required
• May float between locations
**Requirements:**
• Active CA RN License
• AHA BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety certifications
• 3+ years' correctional nursing experience
• COVID vaccination and booster (if eligible)
• LA County Employee Health Clearance
• Onsite Live Scans
**Responsibilities:**
• Care for patients with substance use disorders
• Perform assessments, screenings, and evaluations
• Administer and document medications
• Educate on medication adherence and prevention strategies
• Work in a secure environment
**Additional Information:**
• Scrubs: Any color preferred, Navy Blue or Black
• PPE provided
• Onsite parking
• EMR: Cerner
