Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care to adolescent and adult patients in a Telemetry, Orthopedics, and Trauma setting. The RN will care for patients with cardiac, orthopedic, trauma, and neurosurgical conditions.

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care and complete patient assessments.
Monitor patients on telemetry and recognize changes in condition.
Manage cardiac drips and administer medications safely.
Care for orthopedic and trauma patients.
Provide care for joint procedures, wounds, and chest tubes.
Perform pin care and manage traction and Halo devices.
Care for neurosurgical patients.
Monitor and document patient progress.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery.
Follow patient safety and infection-control procedures.
Requirements
Active RN license – Pennsylvania or Compact
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Previous Telemetry nursing experience
Orthopedic/Trauma experience preferred
Experience with cardiac drips, chest tubes, traction, pin care, and neurosurgical patients preferred
Ability to work 12-hour day/night shifts
