Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active North Carolina Physical Therapy license required prior to start of assignment.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred in medical settings, including hospital, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation environments. (Preferred)
• Experience with Cerner and/or NetHealth documentation systems preferred. (Preferred)
• Experience providing care across settings including acute/swing beds, nursing home, and outpatient services. Must be willing and able to float among those settings as indicated by facility needs.
• Ability to perform physical therapy evaluations, establish plans of care, participate in rounds and care conferences, and communicate frequently with interdisciplinary rehab team.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital (Rehab Services unit within hospital that also supports nursing home and outpatient clinics).
• Shift: Days.
• Shift Hours: 08:00–16:30.
• Schedule Requirement: 40 hours per week; specific schedule to be reviewed during interview with rehab manager.
• Patient Ratio: Typically 1:1 during treatment sessions.
• Documentation Systems: Cerner and NetHealth.
• Uniform/Dress Code: Business casual or scrubs.
