Minimum Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid Florida Physical Therapist license required prior to the start of the assignment.
• Acute care experience required. Candidates without acute care experience will not be considered.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in inpatient acute care settings, including exposure to mobility equipment and inpatient rehab workflows.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
• ICU experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital (253-bed acute care hospital with a 20-bed Inpatient Rehab unit).
• Unit: Inpatient Physical Therapy. Location serves floors 1-4 in the main hospital.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Hours: 08:00–16:30.
• Typical patient volume: 9–10 patients per day (75% productivity standard).
• Team composition: day shift PTs, OTs, and SLPs. Approximately 20 PT caregivers on the team.
• EMR: Meditech.
• Candidate profile: collaborative, outgoing, with strong communication skills.
