Description
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide home health services to patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities and to help them regain or improve daily living skills while working throughout the Newton, MA service area.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Minimum of 1 year of certified home care OT experience required by client. Two years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or home care is preferred.
- Ability to travel within the client’s geographic service area, including visits across towns such as Andover, Bedford, Billerica, Burlington, Concord, and surrounding communities.
- Proficiency with computer documentation systems required. Experience with hand-held patient care devices preferred.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required by client.
- Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills required. Customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations required.
