Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active North Carolina state PT license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Pediatric physical therapy experience preferred. Experience treating developmental delay, pediatric orthopedic conditions, and assessing/evaluating equipment needs preferred.
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
- Masters or DPT degree accepted for PT credentialing.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital-based outpatient clinic.
- Setting: Outpatient pediatric physical therapy; patient types include pediatric orthopedics and developmental delay. Equipment assessment for pediatrics required.
- Shift Schedule: (4) 9-hour shifts Monday through Thursday and 4 hours Friday.
- Orientation: Department onboarding typically 4–5 days.
- Floating: May be required to float between local campuses within the health system.
- Weekend/Holiday Expectations: No routine weekend rotation for outpatient. Holiday staffing applies as required by facility policy.
- Unit Culture and Logistics: Collaborative department. Scrub color: light gray. Parking: free.
