Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active North Carolina state PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required.
- Experience treating pediatric patients preferred. Preferred experience should include developmental delay, pediatric orthopedic conditions, and assessing equipment needs for pediatric patients.
- Experience using EPIC or comparable EMR preferred.
- Masters or DPT accepted for PT degree.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital-based outpatient clinic.
- Shift: Days.
- Schedule format: Four 9-hour shifts Monday through Thursday and a 4-hour shift on Friday.
- Standard hours per week: 40.
- Patient population: Pediatric outpatient (orthopedics, developmental delay) and some adults for equipment needs.
- EMR system: EPIC.
- Orientation: Department onboarding 4–5 days.
- Floating: May float between regional clinics within the health system.
- Weekend rotation: No weekends for outpatient setting.
- Holiday expectations: All holidays coverage required unless released by leadership.
- Uniform: Light gray scrubs. Parking is free.
