Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Arizona Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics required. Candidate must demonstrate competency evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions and developing functional, discharge-focused treatment plans.
• Experience with electronic medical record documentation, including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to rehabilitation aides and students. Participation in student clinical education is preferred.
• Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education as required by the Arizona Practice Act.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient and employee safety, including safe patient handling and infection control practices.
• Two or more years of clinical experience in an outpatient or orthopedic setting is preferred.
