Description
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in Detroit, MI at a hospital setting.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting preferred.
- Ability to complete assessment, develop individualized treatment plans, and document according to department policy.
- Experience supervising COTAs and OT students preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe patient handling and infection control procedures.

- Clinical Duties: Evaluate patients per physician orders, develop and implement treatment plans, participate in interdisciplinary team and discharge planning, supervise COTAs and students, complete required documentation, and promote patient and employee safety.
