Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Colorado Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Outpatient physical therapy experience, including evaluation and plan of care development.
- Experience performing 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatments, including documentation of goals and functional outcome measures.
- Ability to complete timely, accurate medical record documentation, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry per clinic and payer guidelines.
- Demonstrated clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans and progress patients toward discharge goals.
- Willingness to participate in student supervision and precepting as assigned.
- Maintain professional licensure in good standing and comply with state practice act and required continuing education.
- Preferred: prior experience in a high-volume outpatient setting and familiarity with safe patient handling and materials handling protocols.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Outpatient.
- Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
- Duration: 13-week assignment (client desires a 6-month contract where possible).
- Patient Visit Structure: 60-minute evaluations; 30-minute follow-ups.
- Workload: Approximately 40 hours per week.
- May be required to float to other clinics within the region as needed.
