Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Arizona State Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy required. Candidate must have experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and documenting in an outpatient electronic medical record.
- Demonstrated competency with functional treatment planning, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic guidelines.
- Experience supervising or mentoring students or support staff preferred.
- Ability to follow clinic safety practices, safe patient handling procedures, and infection control policies.
- Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education as required. Preferred: prior travel or per diem outpatient clinic experience.
