Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Arizona Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy required.
- Demonstrated competency in comprehensive evaluation, goal writing, and development of individualized treatment plans.
- Experience with documentation, letters of medical necessity, charge entry, and use of electronic medical records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Ability to supervise and delegate to PTA/aides and to participate in student clinical education as needed.
- Commitment to patient and employee safety, including safe patient handling and infection control practices.
- Maintain professional licensure and complete required continuing education in accordance with state practice act.
