Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Colorado Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Client prefers experience with 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions.
- Experience with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry consistent with outpatient clinic practices.
- Ability to evaluate patients, develop and modify treatment plans, delegate discipline-specific therapy services, and deliver functional treatment programs focused on community reintegration.
- Must demonstrate adherence to professional standards and state practice act, including maintenance of licensure and required continuing education.
- Preferred: Experience participating in student education or mentoring.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Outpatient.
- Shift Details: 5x8 schedule (5 days per week, 8 hours per day).
- Workweek: 40 hours per week.
- Duration: 13-week assignment with client desire for up to a 6-month engagement.
- Patient Visit Timing: 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups.
- May be required to follow clinic policies on safety, patient handling, infection control, and workplace procedures.
