Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• State License: Active MA Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience: Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) required. Prior travel therapy or short-term contract experience preferred.
• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in evaluation and treatment of geriatric populations, restorative nursing programs, and skilled rehab documentation standards required.
• Equipment and Procedures: Experience with common SNF equipment and modalities such as gait training, ADL assessment, safe transfer techniques, therapeutic exercise, and use of assistive devices preferred.
• Compliance: Ability to meet facility-specific onboarding requirements, background checks, and health screening protocols.
