Description
Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant at a skilled nursing facility in Mcleansville, NC. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited educational program.
- Active North Carolina PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required or may be required by client. (Client may accept current BLS on file.)
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in common SNF therapies: gait training, transfers, balance and fall prevention, therapeutic exercise, and use of mobility devices preferred.
- Ability to follow plan of care established by a licensed Physical Therapist and document per facility and regulatory requirements.
- Current immunizations and TB screening per facility policy required.
- Reliable professional communication and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
